Flood Relief Efforts

The Pemmasani Foundation emerged as a beacon of hope during the devastating Vijayawada floods, showing exceptional courage and compassion in the face of adversity. Braving turbulent waters and risking their safety, members of the Foundation tirelessly ventured into flood-affected areas, rescuing those in need and providing critical medical care to the injured and stranded. Their selfless dedication not only saved countless lives but also left a lasting impact on the hearts of the community they served. In addition to these heroic actions, the Pemmasani Foundation donated ₹1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and continues to support ongoing relief efforts, underscoring its unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people.

Free Water Supply Initiative

Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani helped to provide a free water supply to residents of the Narasaraopet area, in the Guntur district. The Free Water Supply Initiative is a transformative effort addressing water scarcity, offering vital relief to vulnerable communities. With a commitment to equitable access, the initiative provides clean water free of charge, aiming to eradicate the challenges faced by those in need. Operating on sustainable principles and collaboration with local authorities, this initiative envisions a future where water is a universal right. By uniting communities and implementing positive change, it stands as a beacon of hope, ensuring no one is deprived of this fundamental necessity. Over 100,000 people got access to clean and safe drinking water.

Joy of Giving

Joy of Giving isn't just about financial contributions; it's about active engagement and volunteerism. Our volunteers regularly participate in various activities, from building homes for the homeless to organizing food drives and fundraising events.

Recently, our team devoted a day at Shishu Mangal Orphanage, where they not only prepared and served lunch but also delivered essential supplies to support the well-being of the children in the care of the facility. This hands-on approach reflects our commitment to making a positive impact in the communities we serve.

UWorld has made a huge impact on our donation drives by continuously supporting us with a variety of supplies that help our students in need. During our first back-to-school drive since COVID, they were able to provide over 120 backpacks stuffed with school supplies.
